Recently, I visited this wonderful winery and was absolutely delighted! The owner, Felipe, gave me a detailed tour of his farm where he cultivates grapes, papayas, and coffee. It was the first time in my life that I saw coffee being cultivated, and I was very surprised. Then we moved to the cellar, where Felipe explained how they produce wine. Importantly, they do not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides in the production process – all the wine here is organic and natural. It was very interesting and enjoyable to talk to Felipe, as he really knows a lot about wine and winemaking. He is a very friendly person and most of all, he really loves his craft. I can definitely recommend this winery, you will get a real pleasure not only from wine tasting, which is truly amazing with its unique flavor and volcanic characteristics, but also the communication and tour.

Juan Felipe and his sister have crafted a gem of a winery at Bodega Finca Maranuela. Their passion and knowledge shine through as they graciously share their expertise with visitors. Despite its small size, this winery boasts wines with remarkable stories behind them. As a designer, I couldn’t help but notice the seamless connection between the flavors of their Kalima orange wine and its label, mirroring the natural phenomenon of the Kalima wind from the Sahara. I highly recommend a visit; you won’t be disappointed. Until next time, Tenerife!

Had an incredible experience at Bodega Finca Marañuela! Juan Felipe and his sister warmly welcomed us, showcasing their exceptional organic artisanal wines. The intimate vineyard setting allowed for a personal touch to the wine-tasting experience. Juan Felipe’s insights into Tenerife’s wine production were enlightening, creating a deeper appreciation for the craft. The symphony of the garden, abundant with vines, papaya, and various plants, added to the overall charm. A must-visit for those seeking not just great wine but a delightful journey into Tenerife’s winemaking world.

We had an amazing visit to Bodega Finca Marañuela! The view alone is worth the trip. Felipe was so nice and gave us a tour of the grounds, sharing his knowledge of both wine- and coffee making. After that we were able to taste some delicious wines in the cellar. Absolutely the favorite part of our stay in Tenerife so far! Definitely recommend everyone to stop by if you have the chance.

A fantastic experience! Felipe’s hospitality and passion are unparalleled, I am so glad we found this place. It’s a gem and a must see if you like wine, coffee or both! The wines are very special, it’s a fantastic and unexpected experience to see coffee growing on Tenerife. All this accompanied by amazing knowledge, fascinating stories and a little tasting. Highly, highly recommended!

This is a hidden gem! This inconspicuous beautiful vineyard is located between a garden of oranges, papayas and avocados. It produces unique, original and simply amazing natural wines. If that’s not enough, a charming specialty coffee farm will make you feel like you’re in Colombia. We spent a nice time there with the owner Filip, who showed us the vineyard and did a tasting. Pro tip – you can find these wines in the best restaurant El Rincon de Juan Carlos with two Michelin stars ⭐️⭐️

Dropped by unannounced and we are so happy we did! Felipe was incredibly kind and took his time to show us around and talk us through the winery’s history and the process they use to produce their wine. They were sadly sold out of their white and rose, but we got to taste their red and bought two bottles to enjoy during our stay here on the island. Would highly recommend. Just note that if you go visit in person there are no obvious signs to indicate you’re in the right place, but if you drive down the driveway to the location on Google maps there will be a place for you to park.

If you visit Tenerife and you like wine or just want to try something trully local, you should visit this place. This is a family business made with passion and love. We met here very nice and friendly owners and we had a walk around the whole plantation during which we heard a story about this place and their plants and products. This was really pleasant time ended with the delicious tasting. The wine is perfect here, but you don’t need to trust me – just come and try by yourself ;) Huge recommendation from my site and big thank you to the owners for their time and passion!
