We had a great afternoon here sampling. Didn’t want to walk on but took a couple of bottles for the road. We were attended to by Sarai who was knowledgeable and attentive, helping us to select our favourites. Will definitely go back
Viñas del Bierzo was amazing! Sarai helped me and another pilgrim and was so friendly and welcoming. We sat with her for almost two hours as she explained the process of the wine and the different wines available at the vineyard. She sold us a lovely bottle as we were leaving, but the best part of our experience was getting to meet her and experience her kindness and expertise.
Paramos por casualidad, amabilidad del personal, instalaciones muy buenas. Nos llevamos un vinito! Hacen visitas guiadas.
An incidental visit turned into two of the best hours on the Camino so far when we stumbled upon Viñas del Bierzo. Sarai was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and a great saleswoman too - we left with a few nice bottles we had tasted. I would highly recommend this experience to any other pilgrim
Wasn’t planned to drop past this cellar but so glad we did! Sarai is a breath of fresh air. Such a welcome and knowledgeable in this industry. We absolutely loved it and will be back.

I had such an amazing experience stopping by this lovely spot. I ducked in to get out of the rain and ended up being treated with such welcoming hospitality by Sarai who served me wine and a small tapas. I highly recommend making this a stop on any journey.
I arrived at Vinas Del Bierzo on the 28th of September with 4 of my fellow Camino de Santiago pilgrims, on the way to Villafranca and we were welcomed by Sarai, who is a lovely friendly host. The wine is amazing, my favourite was the Rose. Sarai gave us the background of the cooperative and was so friendly, her English is perfect. We enjoyed it here so much that we spent around 2 and a half hours!! Which meant we arrived in Villafranca later than planned but it was well worth it. I definitely recommend a visit
