Vinyes Domenech is an amazing vinery that is located in the heart of natural park. It is a privileged location to all those who are able to appreciate the beauty of a nature and want to run away from everyday routine life and city pollution. However, Vinyes Domenech not only allows visitors to enjoy espectacular landscapes during various seasons but also offers to taste extraordinary wines in hand with a finest food. Owners of the winery converts the visit into magical experience, that starts with a tour through the winery, then you continue with testing of high quality, full-bodied, well-structured and harmonious wines. I also must admit that Garnatcha that is grown in the winery has a significant contribution to the personality and recognition of Vinyes Domenech wines, however the way that wines are blended with “botanicals”create a perfect product with natural and authentic flavours. Defenitely best winery in the Montsant and its a MUST to visit if you are around there.

Very friendly staff that arranged everything, so we could stop by. Located in midst of a natural reserve. The way to get is already a little adventure. They work bio dynamically and you can taste it.
Stellar wine tour and tasting with one of the winemakers, Andreu. The vineyard is beautifully located inside a national park and hence the last 10min drive is a bit of an adventure but well worth it (asphalted, but narrow road, went fine with our rental car). The views are unparalleled and the tour and tasting were very insightful. We particularly enjoyed their Furvus and Teixar reds which we will be bringing back to Canada. Their grape harvesting is done by hand and the choice of soils and mixture of indigenous herbs and plants that are part of the cultivar led to some quite fruitful aromas. The desert wine was excellent (vi dolç) but is only sporadically marketed, so this year there are no bottles. Definitely grab some if when you visit it’s available. A reservation is best since it’s a bit of a hidden gem.
